Corrugated Aluminized Steel Pipe

Invitation To Bid

The Jasper County Commission will be accepting bids on 20’ and 30’ Corrugated Aluminized Steel Type 2 Pipe, round and arched diameters ranging from 10” to 120” also bands, flared ends and beveled cuts of the same size. Delivery to the Jasper County Highway Department shall be included in the pricing. All pipe and materials shall meet AASHTO and Mo-DOT specifications.

Bid opening will be in the office of the Jasper County Commission, Room 101, Courthouse, Carthage, Tuesday, May 15, 2018 at 10:00 a.m. Prices quoted on the culverts should be good for twelve months.

The Contract may be extended at the Contract prices if the Owner and Contractor agree in writing to extend the Contract one additional year.

The Jasper County Commission reserves the right to reject any or all bids or to accept the lowest or best bid.

The County of Jasper (MO) is seeking proposals for counter removal and installation to the Jasper County Detention Center which is located at 405 East 5th Street, Carthage, Missouri, 64836, as described in specifications that can be picked up at the following locations:

All bids must be in the Commissioner’s Office on or before the date and time provided in the notice. The Jasper County Commission reserves the right to reject any or all bids or to accept the lowest or best bid.

Sealed proposals will be received at the Jasper County Commissioners office, 302 S. Main, Room 101, Carthage, Mo., 64836 until May 8, 2018 at 10:00 a.m. at which time they will be publicly opened and read aloud in the Commissioner's Office. There will be a walk through to look at the current layout and to answer any questions. This meeting will take place on April 18, 2018 @ 1300 at above address.

Inmate Medical Services

Request for Proposals

The Jasper County Commission is seeking qualified proposals for Inmate Medical Services to be provided within the Jasper County Detention Center, located at 405 East 5th Street, Carthage, Missouri 64836, for a contract period of two years beginning June 1, 2018. The services sought are provided to an average daily population of 215 in-custody inmates as required and as specified pursuant to Chapter 221 of the Missouri Revised Statutes.

The proposal should specify at a minimum the following:

  • Once weekly on-site physician support during normal business hours.
  • 24/7 telephone physician support.
  • Off-site services including inpatient physician care and medical specialty referral as required.

Proposals should include a provision that proposing entities will, at their own expense, provide professional liability insurance in the amount of at least $500,000/$1,000,000 while rendering medical services to inmates.

The Jasper County Commission reserves the right to reject any or all proposals and to waive any minor irregularities as the proposal pertains to professional services only.

Sealed proposals will be received at the Jasper County Commissioners office, 302 S. Main, Room 101, Carthage, Mo., 64836 until May 1, 2018 at 10:00 a.m. at which time they will be publicly opened and read aloud in the Commissioner's Office.
